How Did We Get Here So Quick???

 Well Dave was gone all last week working out of Dallas. He arrived home Friday night-his birthday!!! 56 the old guy is. He wanted to go to dinner at Outback-of course the girls always have their plans. Linnie had made his birthday cake that morning-his favorite sheath cake. I must admit that kid did a better job than I ever have on it!!! I have thought alot about how big the kids are getting-Laura soon to be 21 and Linnie just turning 17. Laura works hard at her job at Wendy's and still doing her scholarship thing at the Methodist Church. Lin is almost done with high school and chomping at the bit to get her license and her first job. How did we get here so fast? These girls are so independent and hard working. Dave travels alot more now and well me I seem to be working my way out of a job.Sometimes even though I'm proud of the kids I find it really hard to deal with! Dave's next trip is to Tucson and I get to go! Although I still worry about the kids it will be nice to get away. I know they are always glad to have the house to themselves! It's hard to believe we got to this point so quickly!  They are both dating nice young men and seem to be moving on with their lives. Very low maintenance those two have been for such a long time!! How time flies-I mean really flies!!!
