Bishop Sutton Was Right!!!!

When I first joined the church my bishop's name was Bishop Sutton. He was such a wonderful man!! He was very kind and fatherly. He would always show up at the times I seemed to need his advice the most.He was never unkind or mean when I had done something wrong or didn't understand church doctrine.
He was also in the Air Force like my Dave. When it was time for them to leave Abilene, Dave was overseas. Bishop asked me if his family could stay with me for a few days till they left.I had no problem with that-actually I was quite honored that he asked. They had a large family and so my washer and dryer ran non- stop.I remember him being there one day and I think he thought I was overwhelmed watching Sister Sutton.(I really wasn't-I always admired their family.) But even though Dave and I had not been able to have children yet-he said Sister Mullen just remember when they are small they are alot of work-but when they are older they become a great help to you.
Well here I am many years later from that day-Laura is almost 20 and Linnie is almost 17.I think about what a great help they are to Dave and myself-mowing the lawn, doing laundry, dishes, vacuuming or anything Dave and asked of them. What a great joy both of them are to us-we are so lucky!!!! Bishop Sutton was right!
